Asthma Allergy & Pulmonary Associates (AA&PA) is a sub-specialty medical practice providing evaluation and treatment to patients with a range of pulmonary and allergy problems. We have extensive experience in the care of chronic cough, lung infections and tumors, seasonal allergies, asthma, as well as the effect of neuromuscular problems on the respiratory tract. We are known for our treatment of allergic problems in singers and other professional voice users.
AA&PA is an independent practice, affiliated with the Jefferson Health System. We are also affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania Health System.
Our goals are: To provide the best possible medical care for our patients. To treat each patient with a dignity, respect, kindness and courtesy, letting the patient know their value as a person to this practice.
Asthma Allergy & Pulmonary Associates is located in The Jefferson Building, 1015 Chestnut Street. Our office is open every weekday. Hours are by appointment, but we are generally available to treat your respiratory and allergic problems in a prompt and timely fashion. Patients from age two and up may be seen in our office. Facilities are on site for pulmonary function (breathing) tests, allergy skin testing, administration of allergy shots, treatment of mild asthma attacks and electrocardiograms. We participate in all major insurance plans in the area. We are also a member of JeffCare and are participating physicians in PennCare.
If your insurance plan requires a referral, our staff will be happy to work with you to help you obtain one. Otherwise, you may make an appointment directly to see one of our doctors.
